Through the power of a single song, musicians are unequalled in their ability to move the hearts and minds of the people. Always leading social change and reform, the influence of the musical community today encourages people to conserve the Earth's natural resources for the benefit of all, for all time.

We at Laguna Guitars passionately support that position. We know that trees are an economical, long-term solution to many of our tough environmental problems, including air pollution, water pollution, climate change, wildlife protection, habitat restoration, and more.

Laguna has partnered with www.AmericanForests.org to grow a healthier world - and we proudly plant a tree for every Laguna guitar we make.

In addition, our shipping cartons are designed to provide maximum protection with a minimum of material. Our boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard that is also 100% recyclable, which we naturally encourage wherever possible.

In the interests of conservation, we also decided not to print glossy, heavyweight catalogs (millions of catalogs from various companies end up in landfills every year). Our web site and, coming soon, downloadable PDFs more ecologically serve that purpose. You decide what to print. That way we can all save more trees, make more great guitars and plant more trees again…

While we don't claim to have all the answers, we'd like to think we are heading in the right direction. We're as concerned about the world we share as the musicians who play our guitars.
